Burning Safety Message - Be Fire Safe, Not Sorry
Outdoor burning and firework safety messages featuring Governor Phil
Bredesen are available and may be used as needed depending on dry
conditions and during official forest fire season (Oct. 15 - May
15). The purpose of the Public Service Announcements is to
raise public awareness of extremely dry conditions in many parts of
the state and to encourage precautions as it relates to outdoor
burning. This message is particularly important during the
July Fourth week because of the use of fireworks in many
communities.
